Aren't you a little *young* for a midlife crisis, Reeve?

Mid-life ... Cameron, it's not what you think.

It hasn't been long enough I forgot what you look like in the morning.

What, like the walking dead?
And is last year's budget for reactor maintenance in here somewhere?

Only if the walking dead are smug. And have their sweatshirts on inside out.
Yeah, it should be there, along with the invoices from the repair division. From: rsreeve@engineering.midgar.shinra.com

...I couldn't have been wearing mine inside out, you generally stole them before I woke up.
Found it. Ms. C. B. Treize, would you kindly explain where this fifteen-thousand gil discrepancy came from?
R.

Before *you* woke up? The cat always demanded *you* get up first.
Mr. R. S. Reeve, that particular discrepancy is Accounting's problem, not mine. There should be a report with it.
And stop trying to change the subject.
C.

Yes, and I promptly went back to sleep unless I had class in half an hour. You got up whether you had to or not.
It's your department. Large discrepancies are your problem, and the Accounting report does not appear to be in here. So where precisely is that missing fifteen thousand gil, Ms. Treize?
R.
From: cbtrieze@engineering.junon.shinra.com

So is she even legal?
And the Accounting report is attached. As to where the money is - not, alas, in my bank account.
C.

Not that it's any of your business, but she's in her twenties.
I should hope not. I'd hate to have to dig through your financial records. At least you have somebody else balancing the company checkbook.
Hm. I see the problem. I'll see it gets sorted out.

None of my business, eh? Must really be something.
Very funny. Mock my financial management skills, will you? As I recall, you spent the first three years of your professional life paying off the Head's new car.
That would be why I said it was Accounting's problem.

At least I knew exactly where my money was going.
Repair costs are running 25% ahead of budget again?

She looks like an expensive date.
Yes. The report should be in there, but in short - the ground is considerably less stable than the tests showed. Of course, that submarine battle didn't help. Between people who can't aim and Weapon, it's taken a beating.
C.
From: rsreeve@engineering.midgar.shinra.com

There's nothing I can do about submarines or Weapons. Improvise.
Executive meeting, probably won't be available the rest of the day, Cameron.
